Gary Fencik

Gary Fencik is a Partner and member of the Executive Committee at Adams Street Partners, a private equity firm that manages $27 billion in assets with offices in Chicago, Menlo Park, London, Tokyo, Singapore and Beijing.  As the head of business development, he is responsible for overseeing all marketing and consultant related activities for Adams Street Partners and works with other members of the client service team to serve the needs of the firm’s 300+ clients.  Prior to joining Adams Street Partners, Gary spent five years as a Managing Director at Brinson Partners/UBS Global Asset Management where he was responsible for business development in North America and consultant relationships on a global basis.

Gary played twelve years with the Chicago Bears and was an All Pro safety and co-captain of the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Team. He is the all-time leader in both interceptions and total takeaways for the Bears and won a gold record and platinum video for his participation in the “Superbowl Shuffle”.

Gary received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is married and has two children.Type your paragraph here.
